Overlooking the North Downs near Folkestone, Leonard Ironside has been growing local tomatoes for the people of Kent using traditional horticultural techniques for over 40 years. Our special harvesting methods ensure that only the best tomatoes are picked and packed for perfection. Our tomatoes are insecticide free and our plants are not genetically modified. As a founder member of Produced in Kent we promote the ethos of local produce for local people and continue to support local shops and greengrocers, so many of our range of tomatoes can be found in and around Kent. See our list of suppliers to find your local stockist.

Our local ethos also helps to reduce our carbon footprint and impact on the environment. Because we only harvest the tomatoes when they have fully matured on the plant and do not use cold storage, our product arrives on the shop shelf fresh and at their optimum flavour and texture.
